upload speed on bsnl broadband

I have dataone UL1350 plan (effective from today)so 512kbps bandwidth offered is just download speed or includes upload also???Because ive been getting 63kB/s download and 30kB/s upload on utorrent today(download and upload speeds are kB/s not kbps)....also ive read guides to configure router but ive pressed reset button on my router and its working properly without configuring so would configuring do any good???i ve read these guides

I think you can download at 63 KBps and upload at 30 KBps at the same time. Please do not presume that your plan change will start from 1st of month. It do not happen most of the time. Mine happened on 5th, that too after regular follow ups. Be cautious to avoid huge bills. Please go through

Precautions during plan change.

I use to limit upload speed to 1 KBps.

Actually either of the upload.download speed cannot exceed 512 kbps ... that is what bandwidth means it puts restriction to the upload and download capacity....in your case you cannot enjoy speed more than 512 kbps... asat
