Speedtest.net results are not accurate. They download only Few KBs in to your comp so they are not accurate. You can try Java Speedtest from dslreports.com. It is much more accurate then speedtest.netthe best way to measure your speed is by downloading some file from a good server like Microsoft and calculate the average speed

i m using home 1350 ul planand these days i have noticed thatthe upload speed is gone to to20 kb maximumi used to be 30-31 a few months back

what is your link rate under STATUS Of your modem page?? http://192.168.1.1 .. if you have a poor line , then poor SNR , hence poor link rate, therefore poor speeds..... happened to me recently.. i had a poor line ( some underground cable problem only for my connection) ..i could make out the difference from the link rate which used to be 6mbps ( due to iptv) but it showed around 1mbps etc .. i didnt face frequent disconnection though..

Hi all, Today i changed from 256 kbps to 512 kbps plan , and i am getting download speed of 55-60 KBps. Now my upload speed is the same as before. I read in some other thread that they get around 45 upload. I am having UT starcom WA3002-G1 will this modem support 512 KBps upload , or may bee there is some other reason?
