urgent help! IP/network settings?

I have MTNL adsl 512 unlimited 1500rs plan. My Internet does not seem to work most times, I have tried playing around with the settings too. At first I kept obtain ip add and DNS add automatically. Then Mtnl asked me to enter 192.168.1.175 DNS 203 95 227 70Everytime I restart my computer the Internet starts but then goes offI have a Vonage device which works perfectly via the same modem. Please help resolve as my network knowledge is limited

Please try this.
In computer
Start Network LAN Properties
Select TCP/IP
Properties
Obtain Ip address automatically
Obtain DNS automatically.
SAVE apply.

If still problem
Enter IP 192.168.1.10
subnet 255.255.255.0
default 192.168.1.1
DNS
208.67.220.220
208.67.222.222
SAVE apply.

If still problem give feedback.
mention modem model/make.

PS:192.168.1.175 and
DNS 203 95 227 70 both dud. ( TYping mistake by you ?)
