Hello folks,
I had disconnected my BSNL FTTH connection which had a landline number in the 290 series, because the LCO associated with it gave an unsatisfactory service. I got a new FTTH connection in the 299 series. The old number is very important, and the JTO told me initially that it is possible to forward calls from old number to new number. Now they are saying that 'Indicator Change' is 'not feasible' as indicated in the selfcare portal. They also ruled out ASEEM for some reason. Local JTO says ASEEM is possible but the higher official says they have not done it so far.
The number was disconnected more than a month ago.
Now I am very worried because the old number is attached with a hospital and is used by patients for emergencies. BSNL is the only provider in my town.
Any tips or opinions from anyone with similar experience or anyone who knows the workings of BSNL, is much welcome..!
