URL blacklist feature in syrotech router not working!!

tried everything, http, https, www. without www.

tried restarting multiple times my Syrotech router

tried all combinations

still url blacklist filtering does not work

please help

need it to block a certian harmful sites

Blocking ip might be better. I doubt router blocking of domains would work with private DNS or encrypted domains

thanks for the reply. any other easier method? this IP blocking thing is asking for a lot of things that i dont know how to gather - source ip, destination ip, source port destination port, source subnet, destination subnet etc.

ok i think i got it now. need to enter url's ip in destination address, subnet mask as 255.255.255.255. it works now. thanks very much for pointing this alternative out
