@essbebedude u r showing me the himachal pradesh circle....and i already told u...usage is not being updated on self care portal...does it take time...??? how much..???and i hav read other people's problem regarding sms...they say it doesn't show the updated usage...and i need to know the updated usage as i used to see on 10.240.43.216 since i hav limited plan of 2.5 gb ..feedback..

The SMS facility is common to many BSNL circles.
You could have sent an sms and given the feedback here.
In selfcare portal ndc, there will be a delay. if needed
You can no longer check your usage at 10.xx.xx.xx
You can download NetworX application and check your usage.
( Also shaplus meter to record NU separately )
In Chennai circle : my IP is 117.xx.xx.xx
and usage can be checked only at data.bsnl.in
and also with FireFOX addon for Firefox browser.

well i hav resolved the issue of manual connection...
.i just want to see my BB usage....usage is not being updated on self care portal, it only shows upto 28 nov...
the day after which i couldn't login to 10.240.43.216 anymore..
.it says "The user account has been suspended"....
.what does it mean....????

Sadly there is no other way for us, try installing some bandwidth monitor software and monitor your usage manually. That's what I am doing and trying to get used to it.
