So someone left an Airtel router in our shop (did contact Airtel about it on Facebook) since no one wants it back I was thinking about using it as an extender for my current router, can it be done ? Someone said disabling DHCP will make it work, but no Idea about how to do it
You need to give details like Model no. Huawei makes a ton of models. If it's a handheld hotspot, it will have a weak Wifi extension and is just not a good idea. If that is an ONT/4G router that has Ethernet ports and an Antenna it might work.
I need that exactly, I currently have a TP-Link repeater connected via Ethernet on the lower floor so I can remove that and put the Airtel router in its place any idea on how to disable DHCP ?
