I had asked for a modem replacement, and BSNL provided me with UT-300R2UCan anyone tell me how to use that DMZ thing? How do I forward port 23545 for Utorrent?and is there any other firmware version I can use for it? Can anyone please gimme links and give me the instructions?

Please click the tag UT300r2U ! for port forwarding threads.Easy way out use it in "Bridged" dialup mode. All doors open ! Have AV antispy /firewall programs in computer.

i tried bridged mode. All ports are open but there's a problem... whenever I click "Check if this port is forwarded" in Utorrent, I get the error "Page cannot be displayed"

I figured out the DMZ thing, but I didnt like it much...

and strangest of all... my upload is low when using the DMZ... even at speedtest I get like 30-40 kbps upload.


so finally DMZ is not safer than bridged mode right? So I dont need to bother with DMZ
