thanx nish...i added another task to end the telnet session and it worked gr8!and its good to know im not harming the modem by rebooting it so often.i must have already rebooted the router atleast 15times already trying to test the telnet and 'close telnet' tasks!

is there anyway instead of rebooting there could be a way of disconnecting and not connecting again any telnet syntax for that coz i dont know

^ No..but u can use "disconnect when idle" if ur modem supports it

Hi guys, I was trying to use your script to reboot ut300r2u. 192.168.1.1 23WAIT "Login"SEND "admin\m"WAIT "Password"SEND "admin\m"WAIT "> "SEND "reboot\m"The telnet session says that it is "Waiting for : >" and does not send the reboot command. Once i press the enter key it sends the reboot command and the router reboots. Please help me .....

hi i hope you will solve my problem.. i usually used to download using utorrent scheduler during happy hours.. i got my first bill now.. i was shocked to see that they are taking into account the usage i use during the exact transmission time that is from 1:57 to 2:13 and the end time from 7:57 to 8:11. when i asked the stupid illiterate bsnl people they say that i should switch off my modem at 2 then i should switch on my modem after 5 minutes then only it will be counted as fresh.. otherwise the transmission time will be taken into account… please help me.. i desperately need your help
