Better stop eating Onion till price drops . How much money a farmer growing Onion get per Kg ?

Those farmers dont get much profit at all. Few months back there was a news that farmers where throwing their harvested tomatos on road as they were not getting good prices. They asked for around 5-10rs and they were getting 2rs or so! But at the same time in the markets it was around 30rs.

Middlemen gets the most. And most of the middle men are politicians!

That's the other side of the argument.At what point was it worth infringing on privacy of Radia & her callers vs releasing them in the public interestIf you take a strict view then those tapes should never have come out.But they did and they got lots of ppl pointing fingers at all sorts of important people.Tremendous amounts of collateral damage here. almost like setting off a bomb.
