I recently got Airtel Fiber installed at my home, I choose the Gigabit plan but I am getting very low and fluctuating speeds, upload speed is generally good(950 Mbps)
All speeds are in Megabits per second and done on LAN using cat 6e cable unless otherwise stated.
Speed on steam varies between 40-500 Mbps
Speed on bharti airtel server/most servers varies between 350-600 Mbps
Speed on Vodafone india server is generally 950 Mbps
Speed on play store is 150 Mbps using lan and wifi
I got the Nokia g140w f ont

The real problem starts here, the problem is not something as simple as just slow speed
Whenever I connect to the nokia ont using wifi I get 500 ish Mbps on singtel and all other servers but using lan I only get 150 Mbps on singtel and 400 Mbps on bharti airtel server, Vodafone india gives 950 Mbps (tried many config, ont to my pc, ont to router to all other devices, ont to phone using adapter same result)
Torrent is extremely slow on mobile, it only gives around 70-80 Mbps(9-10 MBps max) on phone(Vodafone india gives 600 Mbps on wireless at same time) but it gives 500-600 Mbps on my PC

Sometimes Google services stops working completely for few minutes, Amazon and flipkart loads just fine

Many so called engineers have visited and the best advice they had was to downgrade my plan.

I really have not seen such behavior with any broadband connection, The behavior is just too odd
Any help would be appreciated

Reset it and set up from scratch. Enable bridge mode. Then use your own router to establish connection.

Test only with LAN then via router. Post back results.

Wi-Fi is unreliable unless you've got those ₹25,000 high end routers.

It doesn't matter. Wi-Fi is not the best method for testing bandwidth and latency. There's too many variables to account for.

Also are you using Cat6a LAN cable?

Yes, I am using cat Cat 6e cable
It's not a simple problem like bottleneck of some kind
If it was some kind of bottleneck, why would Vodafone india server give 950 Mbps at the same time?
Downloading from YouTube as well gives 980 Mbps

This is India not America. "Should" doesn't imply "would".

The ISPs themselves have very limited bandwidth. Google is an MNC not a server host on speedtest.net. The same goes for steam and DigitalOcean on the latter.

When did I say that I was only talking about speedtest servers?
I am talking about real download speeds from these servers
Nonetheless it still does not explain other oddities I am experiencing
Why does Google stops working when other sites loads fine?
Steam's server is not so bad as to give 50 ish Mbps(6-7 MBps)

Peering and routing problems. Again. India. You'll never get perfect speed or latency to all servers.
