you call more than 3 times on that no. your no. is barred.No matter even if you are not able to get to the CC even on your first 3 tries.

Is it? I mean thats a new thing that i came to know. Mostly u shud be getting connected in 3 tries. Getting thru isnt that bad. But yeah then extracting info from the CC is really tough! Most of the times they also give u a template sort of reply!

U write a strongly worded mail to their CC. They are sane when it comes to queries which are not content related.

^^^^Did that.And had 10 people calling me today.They have assured that it would be unbarred soon.The circle in charge called in the evening saying the same.Lets see what happens.
