Videocon D2H DTH: Clarity Issue

thanks a lot jaymin. Should i put my stb in 4:3 or 16:9 mode and please tell me the same about my tv setting also(mine is a 37 inch full hd lcd tv and dish non hd sd stb to get the maximum clear output with present setup. thanks in advance.

If u put it in 4:3 mode, then u will see it in a square on ur rectangular screen. In other words, u will see huge black strips on either side of ur screen. That appears even more awkward than seeing a stretched image.@ xmen.....Actually in my case, few movies that i had recorded 2-3 weeks back have stayed intact, but the recent recordings were lost!

Actually, its upto u to decide, as to whats ur preference. I myself dont like watching with the black bars on the Screen. But there are many others, who prefer watching those bars. They dont like to watch stretched images. So ur choice!

Hey guys! i am sorry was got Transfer so was busy with my Shifting & etc., I got installed my DVR in VIZAG (Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh) but the problem remains same... i asked the Area Manager also he said the problem is with the DVR only... now every time i change channel the movie is freezing for more than a second now...
