Upload from Google Drive and park your videos on Vimeo

You store many of your favorite things within the mighty engine of Google Drive: family photos, important work files, unimportant work files, and lots of videos. But for a while — until today, in fact — those videos were parked in the cloud without a simple way to cruise on over to Vimeo. Now, the path is clear, engines are revved, and you can upload videos from your Drive account directly to Vimeo in a split second.

At Vimeo, we’re dedicated to simplifying the video-making, managing, and sharing process—all in a single, easy-to-use platform. We're making a few changes to our Terms of Service to enhance transparency and protect our users. Here’s an overview of what’s changing:

Creators must now label AI-generated content that could be mistaken for real people, places, or events. Learn more.
We’re clarifying the prohibited technical measures aimed at preventing unauthorized access to and downloading of your videos for AI model training. Read our position on AI.
We’re updating our refund policy for future purchases and our permission to charge your payment methods.
We're implementing changes to our informal dispute resolution process and arbitration agreement. If you do not wish for the arbitration agreement to apply to you, you have the option to opt out within 30 days (see instructions).
We encourage you to carefully review our new Terms of Service. These updates are effective immediately for new users, and as of August 15, 2024 for existing users. By continuing to use Vimeo’s services, you confirm that you have reviewed and agreed to the updated terms.

Thank you for being a member of the Vimeo community.

Best regards,
