vodafone gone crazy, After Tarrif for local and STD calls would be charged Rs.24/minute.

voda has discontinued the Rs.40/Tariff at-least for U.P.(east) which allowed calling all local/std calls @40p/minute
now they offer Rs.41 Tariff as per their online recharge website

it says "All Local and STD Mobile Calls on all Network @ 40p / Sec"


Holy sh*t, I am not going to pay Rs.24 a minute, this is criminal or will kill people's budget for sure.


if this is a typo, I am still not interested in sticking to voda as I get 10% signals while I am home on 3G, and they don't even carry forward the remaining bandwidth at the end of month, First they don't let you use 3G then they don't even let you carry forward it, so Its a shame to use 2G when I need and pay for 3G.


Time to wait and port again to a more grown up operator.

one cannot assume its per minute as both display and details page shows per second,
no wonder you get this rates applicable as they have a stand that what rate is published is provided.

till this hour 6:50pm@28-12-2012 it shows

so I expect this to be another way of scaring your customers port away.
