Vodafone Idea deploys 4G network on underground Mumbai Metro Line 3

@akshay71 i hope they have covered the tunnels well
as i remember having no network with vi on kolkata metro underground section (line 1)
 
Yesterday while travelling through Mumbai Metro Line 3 (underground) the second time after the public opening in Oct

I observed Jio still doesn't have any network at Marol Naka station (Connects Line 1) and CSMIA T2 (BOM international airport) ,at the station and while the train is in Motion

Im pretty sure Jio hasn't put cell towers in the whole line then and Irony is that this Line connects to Jio World Drive and Jio World Plaza

Vi was giving a constant hard cap speed of 50mbps while Jio was just dead

Or maybe they've put 5G only towers? And I'm on iPhone 11 so that's why no signal anyway It's kinda awful that they don't have network on a public service spot
 
I’ve been on the new howrah maidan to esplande Vi works like a charm

Jio works too

3.Jio still has no network setup in Feb 2025 ,so people with Jio sim should keep that in mind if travelling with Mumbai Line 3
