Hey guyz,Corp FV 199 plan needs appreciation letter from higher authority while GK 199 openly available, which one is better?I dont want to spend more than 300 bucks p/m on mobiles. i feel that GK 199 is dumbrather i would go for prepaid & take a bonus card of rs. 54 & get calling at 50pGK 199 gives 200 min free which would cost rs. 100 in prepaid.so total in prepaid = 54+100=154.the advantage is also of no commitmentalso this is for those not interested in messaging.those interested in messaging:GK199: add on pack of rs. 50 gives messaging at 35ptotal cost: 200 + 50 = 250 (sms @ 35p - no sms free)prepaid: rs. 100 pack gives 500 sms freetotal cost: 54+100+100=254 (500 sms free)prepaid wins againif prepaid turns out to be cheaper than billing, then the billing plan is dumbso GK199 is dumbwhat to say about corp FV199?its one of the best plans...
This is exactly I was thinking when they put me on GK199.I m desparately trying for Corp FV 199 or still better compared to it. @ Godfather,Hows ur monthly bill? r u satisfied with GK 199?? @ rachit,I regret after switching over to billing, my cards validity was till Jan '09.So I would have activated 54 ka card+ 100 Rs. recharge on that. Ok will keep u all updated when I'll get my hands onto Corp FV 199 plan.

nly calling plan can be put. for messaging there is only 1 plan which is of rs. 54 which gives sms @ 50p but thats too expensive.normal prepaid:can enjoy both sms (rs. 99 - 500 sms free) & calling scheme but you may have to pay for the validity. to avoid paying for the validity, opt for yearly recharge of rs. 3350. but again you have to check out if both the calling & sms scheme can be employed together. :frown:in such cases, its time to either change your operator or somehow get a corp plan

i really dont understand why people should go for plan like GK 199 or CV 199 for that matter.if one recharges with 60 or something he gets locals call at 50 paise and STD at 1 rupee...a 35 RS recharge gives 300 Local SMS free.And a recharge of 29 RS means STD sms is 29 paise..222 RS paper coupon gives 222 Rs full talktime with no tax then why would one go for a postpaid plan when prepaid is more profitable.And adding to all this, u need to go and pay bills which is a hectic process and we cant be sure of billing too.Before registering to DO NOT DISTURB i use to get numerous calls to migrate me to Postpaid since am a heavy user..it gets easy to milk a customer on Postpaid connection.
@Chinmay, I was not online last 5 days....replied to your IMNow i personally feel that since Corp FV199 is not available to anyone and everyone,and special strings have to be attached.................So i personally feel its best to take the initial 200 minutes,coz thats almost 3hrs 20 mins of talk time free every month on GK199.better than most other prepaid or post paid plans, if ur usage is approx 200 mins/monthwhat say guys? Coz in Mumbai circle no one has given us any free SMs schemes on recharges for thge last year or two !!!Delhi and other circles I am not so sure .

I had switched plans this month so can't comment on my bill. I'll let you know about my bill next month coz then the whole billing cycle would be GK199.I feel it is a very good plan if you don't text much. Flat 0.50p and 200 mins free is really good.I spoke to the Retention Dept and they said that they have given recommendation to their Higher ups to comeout with a plan similar to Idea's Value Plus 199. But, he didn't give me any commitment on when a similar plan would role out.He asked me to wait and said they'll definately come out with a similar plan.Since I have an Idea No. with Value Plus 199 plan I get 200 txt msgs free so I use that to text. I feel the GK199 is a very good plan for now.
