Vodafone Mumbai prepaid and postpaid, want to activate "Roam like Home", How to do ?

Between me and my wife we have a vodafone prepaid and one postpaid number. Both are of Mumbai circle. But we are most of the time in Pune. I remember that 1.5 years back i did some special recharge which enabled some ROAM LIKE HOME facility to enable home network rates when roaming in Maharashtra and Goa Circle. Does anyone know what recharge option it is to get this offer ?Also how to get this enabled in the postpaid number ?
 
On Postpaid there are no separate charges. You just need to call the customer care and tell them to activate 'Roam Like Home' on your number. I have this activated.No idea about Prepaid though.

they are saying that they have stopped this facility now. Two different vodafone people told me this.
 
Huh! But I have it activated and using it currently. Could be they have stopped taking new requests. BTW I'm on a corporate plan.

I have Pre-activated free of cost.... On Police Plan.
 
Not sure why they are constantly saying it is not available. I want to get it done on my postpaid number as well as prepaid. My last bill of 450+ Rs has around 175 Rs as roaming charges :(
 
Don't call Customer Care.....Go to the Vodafone store they will definitely help you....& tell them that you want to convert from Postpaid to Prepaid.....
 
I've Maharashtra circle prepaid number used by my wife. I had checked about "roam like home" about a year ago and was told that this is available only for postpaid.Except for network coverage, airtel is far better than Vodafone. I'm waiting for March, when roaming is supposed to be abolished. I'll port my Maharashtra circle airtel postpaid and Vodafone prepaid to MTNL, both prepaid.
 
For MH Circle there is a Bonus Card (Plan Voucher) for free incoming on VF Mumbai network.
