Hi !
I have BSNL air fibre Connection ( on cambium epmp 1000 using Huawei HG8145V5 Router ) and I configured my router for VoIP (using DHCP). my router has got the IP address and DNS server via specific VLAN 1830 ( my landline number series is 297 and from UP east). For data connectivity I didn’t have to use my data vlan ( whenever I use my data vlan port the connection goes off and it doesn’t connect again so I had to remove data vlan to connect to Internet.)
Problem:- The problem is that in this Huawei router there is option for IMS SIP or H.234 config for voice and I am using IMS sip profile (not H.234) , SIP server 192.168.149.78 or upe.ftthvoip.bsnl.in provided by LCO to me . And I entered my user details in format (91542297****) and password (sent by bsnl to me in sms) .When I cheque the status it show 401 unauthorised access .
I referered every video that I could on internet all of them used Syrotech router and in the voice config they selected softswitch sip but this option is not in my router. Second all of them used data vlan I’d provided to them by bsnl. And using these all of them have registered voice .
I wanted to know what I can do to fix my voip issue ?
Is softswitch sip necessary ?
Is data vlan id necessary to use VoIP ?

@sbcs2018 For the better result, I would suggest you to contact Local ISP or Nearby BSNL Customer Centre.
They will be able to fix your this type of issue easily. Or You can contact Engineer Visit by Calling on 1800-4444 Contact number.

is the sip server domain correct?
there is surely a dot missing somewhere, ftth and voip have a dot inbetween them.
I have FTTH connection and my sip domain is tn.ftth.ims.bsnl.in
so check the domain correctly

Up for uttar pradesh right ?

Are u sure its UPE and not UP ?

ALSO,

Have you tried the kerala telecom sip walkthrough?

I did it through kerala telecom guide and it worked for me

I just replaced KL. for kerala to MH. for Maharashtra to make it work...

up is divided in to two telecom sectors up east and up west . upe is for up east ..I have tried the the method you are referring to but it didn’t work.
May I know which router you are using and are you using IMS SIP or softswitch SIP ?
I have contacted bsnl customer care they register my issue but no one will come to fix my issue and within half hour the issue resolved message will be sent by them.
I have also visited BSNL head office met NIB , head technician and ISP provider but they weren’t able to solve the problem.all of them were potatohead they were like they didn’t know anything about voice calling feature but surely they can give me username password and sip sever address and they are like do whatever you can do it , we don’t know know anything about this issue cause we are new to this.
My Experience was just awful.

I changed few of the settings that were suggested though non of them worked. I will try to send screenshots of the configuration of my router and the errors. Maybe through config images one of you might point out the error.
