Will try to contact BSNL again to know my IP address , Subnet Mask, Gateway, and DNS server.
In the meantime I have checked voip vlan - 1830 and 1849 both of them are up under dhcp. But I think I have asked them few days ago they were unable to provide me any details pertaining this.
For 1830
SIP address is -
(1) 192.168.149.78- (shows unauthorised error )
(2) upe.ftthvoip.bsnl.in - (shows unauthorised error)
For 1849
SIP address
(1) upe.ftth.ims.bsnl.in - returns forbidden error
*Other SIP address returns registration timed out or Server not found .

Wierd. This is what I've found and seen.

Mine's 1831 for 295 series number and it works perfectly. So I'll suggest your try and mess with the SIP server settings with 1831 vlan. If it doesn't help then only BSNL can help you.

VOIP VLAN – 1831 (For 295, 296, 297 & 298 number series)

or

VOIP VLAN – 1849 (For Landline to FTTH conversion & 299 number series)

Surely I will try.
But BSNL in UP east ( Varanasi ) is not helpful , I am facing this issue for more than a year I have contacted everyone of them and none of them were able to help. All of them were like we haven’t configured any bsnl air fibre connection with VoIP, this is new to us and at this point of time we are unable to run a fibre connection at your place cause it’s not cost efficient. Even one of the official said sir if you want we can disconnect your connection. I was like I would surely do that if any other service provider comes to my area.

I have ordered an other router (net link) that supports softswitch sip , hope it works.
Cause I am not sure between softswitch sip and ims sip. Are both of them same or different ( how their authentication works not sure of any thing ) .
If not then I will contact them again for resolution.
Even then if they will net help then I will surely consider the option you have given.
Thanks

Thought I should attaché the message from BSNL:-
Dear sir/madam,thank you for choosing BSNL services, for your phone number xxxxxxxxxx the VOIP password is xxxxxxxxxx and BB User ID is xxxxxxxxxxx.
--BSNL
This is the format of phone number and BB userid I got … so I was wondering what should I have written in the username and registration name ?

Was I right entering username xxxxxxxxxxx ?
