Voicemail Service from Vodafone

@cool_techie_tvm Thanks for the confirmation.. Do they charge extra for each call details or just Rs.10 as mentioned in their site?

Also need one more help... I tried to activate voicemail service by sending sms to 111. Now whenever i switch off the phone, the caller is made to hear 'this number does not hav voicemail facility..... " instead of 'switched off' message. How to revert back? Their cancellation code is not working. :wall:

They charge me only 10/- as mentioned on the site. Regarding the second problem, i had faced the same when i tried to activate a non existent service. Call them up and speak with them. I had to make nearly 20 - 30 calls to the CC to get this solved. Everytime i used to call them, they used to mention, it will be fixed within the next 24 hours. Hours came and went, still when someone called me up, they used to get "this number does not hav voicemail facility" message. Activating MCI will also help solve this problem (its a quick method)Reply, if details is needed for the above statement.

I guess the number varies from circle to circle. Initially when i subscribed to this service, it was a four digit number (+91xxxx) Just now i checked it, and it is changed to +919846098467

Thanks cool_techie_tvm for all the help. I tried the number you gave but didn't get any sms for missed calls. So, i'll call cc and try to get the number for me. Right now im not able to connect to 111. Network Busy!!

It takes time. Atleast it took nearly a month in here to stabilize and after that only i was able to get all the call details. I mean, soon after activating the service, i didnt get any MCI. Played with it for some days and got bored, then i forgot about the service. Now it does work flawlessly. I had a prepaid Vodafone connection also back then, but it worked flawlessly. I was able to get MCI right from the day i activated it.

I received my vodafone bill today. In it is mentioned "MOBILE ANSWERPHONE PLUS" and charged Rs.30 for the period from 3/1-10/1. What service is that? .

Even i was charged for the same. Its a non-existent service from Vodafone. Call the CC and speak with them. They refunded the amount on the next bill. They should do the same for u too.
