Airtel launched fiber in my town in Jan 2025, and I was the 1st one to get a new connection.
Unfortunatey they have started to use IPv6 for VOIP profiles now. This poses a problem if we wanna make calls thru softphones or IP Phones because adding routes and everything becomes difficult.
Now I have an Openwrt router and have bridged the VLAN 100 for internet, and left another port untagged and connected that to my IP Phone, tagged VLAN 660 on the phone and it works. I have TP-Link xc220 G3v which does not support ipv6 voip.
Is there a way, with which I can connect the IP phone to my local LAN, and provide it internet access, while also letting it reach the SIP server?
IPV6 static routes? Siproxed? Kindly give your ideas, TIA!
