vowifi stopped working on my iphone

Recently I noticed that vowifi is not working on my iPhone anymore. I am not sure what happened. nothing in my setup has changed.

This is very frustrating because I dont get mobile network in my house and vowifi is the only way for me to stay connected. Any idea on how I can fix it?

using 15 pro max.

Is Phone restart working fix? Which operators are you using? seems like the iPhone issue so might want to visit service center.

not an issue with my phone because -

1. vowifi works at my friends house who has act connection
2. vowifi at my house is patchy. sometimes it works. sometimes it doesnt. Like sometimes, I flip between 2.4ghz and 5ghz and then it starts working. sometimes I turn on/off airplane mode and then it starts working. sometimes I turn off/on automatic network selection and then it starts working.

my guess is that it has something to do with my network since my dad's phone was also affected by this. he uses a motorala. I have already rebooted my router but it is still the same. I am not sure if airtel did anynthing on their backend. and I am not sure what else I can do to fix it.

check with DNS settings ,sometimes i have seen DNS servers affecting VoWiFi

yes, thats what I did. I had cloudfare's and google's dns on my settings. removed both of them and now I think vowifi is working as it should ..

try NextDNS perhaps. i haven't seen problems connecting to vowifi but call quality is somehow still shit.

the fix is still patchy. Even with Airtel's dns, I am having issues. Sometimes vowifi works . Sometimes it doesnt.

any idea what could be the issue?

try 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1
maybe it works?

also which phone u use?

Check if IPsec ALG is ENABLED in your router settings. Otherwise VoWiFi connection will be inconsistent.

What is your home internet connection (ISP, ONT and Router Mode etc.)l?

trying out NextDNS as sushubh recommend. Will see how it works and report back.

Phone is 15 pro max
home connection is airtel ftth
router is airtel sercomm AOT-4221SR

it is in bridge mode and connected to my TP-Link archer c6
