Yea, thanx for posting. But now the tricky part is to find a fast US proxy with minimal latency.

Do pm me if you find one. ;)

;) Ok Guys, if you want to reinvent the wheel its your choice.

I use a Gizmo with free Incoming No. in Washington. When programmed ATA installed on Dataone in India, It works beautifully. USA Outgoing Calls AT 0.01 is really cheap and imagine recieving calls from anyone in USA/Canada/UK for free.

Most of us are having Free Long Distance during Nights and Weekends on our Mobile so imagine long chats to loved ones for hours in India for free................. :D

Check Out my website http://www.compuguru4u.com/smartfone.html

I can program these ATAs remotely too for changing the service.

Looks like globe7 has stopped its offer of free $1 for international calls. Also, I think wengo has stopped giving free unlimited 2min calls. iCall isnt working for me... Im in pain!! :(

You can setup a number in voicestick to forward calls to a phone in India.

You wont need a PC or Broadband in that case.

Looks like a service worth trying out.

I live in the US and call India using this service and it works very well. Also for me in the US I can use the bridge feature so I can use my cell phone to call India or just a regular phone so I don't need a computer or a ata adaptor.

I agree with previous posts. These guys are bunch of scammers. You can buy any SIP adapter for less than 50 bucks now a days and get a sip number and call for free. They claim that they have special settings for ISPs don't believe them. All they have is PPPoE user name and password. They scammed people by mentioning that they will offer India rates for 8.9 cents per minute and they did but next week they raised the rates to 9.9 cents (10% increase???) False Advertising.....Go with other providers and save a whole lot of hassle.

I make a few calls into India, but set up a friend who is a power user and he calls landline and cell phones in India. He passed along to me that he is saving Hundreds a month with Voicestick, and was using AT&T before. Said the call quality is similar. He is using the cell phone bridge.
