Is this the only backhanded way of getting it?
Yes
I guess this works. ?

----------

I have this 99Rs / 2GB plan since last three months in my Vodafone Post-paid connection. Last month I sent a Port-out request, and I got a better talk plan. Rental Rs.199, 400 local minutes,200 STD minutes and 200 SMS free + Rs.99 for 2GB data. Local call 30 p, STD 60 P per minute after free minutes

Can you please post the exact details of this Inside Deal / Plan you were offered due to the Port thing.

If the following is correct.. How does all of it appear on the BILL? And/ or online what does it show as on your MY VODAFONE account.

Maybe these customized offers have unique PLAN Codes/ Names?

199/-
400 Local
200 STD
200 SMS

99/-
2GB

Local Call - 30p
STD Call - 60p

admin ... we feel this is a spam to divert traffic from your blog to VF website.can you block this?

Sushubh is correct. Companies official penetration is professional initiative and we should not block it, but yes VF itself is maligning their reputation with such automated replies. From Now onwards, we should not expect any kind of help from Vodafone here .

Best thing to do is to ignore the vodafone guys. Nobody can make horse out of donkeys. If any management (Read: I mean ANY) cannot publicly resolve an issue that was brought by the public, then they deserve nothing but silence. Its their business and their reputation. If they can't help their paying customers and put up comments like this, there will not only be a serious blow to a company's reputation and business, but also a rival brand will suddenly be competant enough to take advantage of this. This is India: Takes hard work, money and manpower to make a good reputation but extremely easy to see it be destroyed. Best if he is not banned. Let the great tamasha and reaction from a company be visible to all. Do note, we have a lot of guests on the forums as well. Let them say that. Hopefully one day they'll grow tired of it and start doing something.
