it should spook you vishal as you dont have one and thats why to keep your self feel safe you post impossible things like physical immortality.
um, dont say i dont have a spirit, then it will be DHONI's turn to get spooked, he'll be wondering how the heck a spiritless being is coming online and posting such stuff on a forum
note "immortality" of course sounds very far fetched even to me... never say never, and never say forever either.
but we are already transhumans technically speaking... we use primitive technology to augment our biology... heart pacemakers, hearing aids, spectacles, contact lenses, even clothes/shoes to protect us from the elements. what happens if technology is so advanced as to be able to keep the brain itself sustained for long periods?
cyborgs are already among us but you are blind to the obvious evidence.
its interesting, one of us thinks there are spirits, one thinks there are both spirits and soul-less beings, and then there is the correct view that there is no such thing, we are all just a bunch of molecules manifesting life.
you really should watch "technocalyps" and understand the simple concept of what these people call "the singularity", that is a little bit less far fetched and easy to swallow than immortality.
Oh just noticed this: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1117394/ and Transcendent Man (2009) - Plot summary
A more mainstream documentary, so more people across the world can open their minds' eyes to the truth in March!
