One big incestuous affair this. Why should those who don't listen to music pay for the same? They know their revenue model is wrecked. No one is going to pay 13 dollars per cd with two good tracks and 8 crap ones. As for buying tracks online, what is the point of purchasing drm-ed tracks and finding that you can't transfer them around freely?

The best way, in case cds disappear is having drm free watermarked tracks at a reasonable price. And allowing sites streaming music to do so on a reasonable revenue sharing basis so that those who don't want to pay for music can get to listen to songs in lieu of adverts.

Propagating ideas where the music industry robs the consumer without giving him anything in return is criminal, and insane.
