so mr abhishek why isnt he is adding channels???

Well I have a friend who owns a TV channel and wanted it on TS and was ready to pay the immense amount of carriage fee that TS charges but TS refused them saying they don't have bandwidth,
TS is having a very limited bandwidth and hence they are adding the channels ONLY on the basis of viewership and popularity. However, TS can add channels, but that might affect their quality. And TS prefers to have Quality of services and not the Quantity.
FYI, TS might get some new Transponders with the launch of GSAT 10. So the capacity issue will be resolved soon.
And i think this is the answer for the Question of Mr spandan2003 as well.

Its actually GSAT 9 with 12 Ku Band TP at 83 degree east same as Insat 4A(The current satellite of TS)

But when the satellite will be launched and made operational is an open question as Indian Satellite launches easily get delayed by an year or two. Meanwhile they can even Rent out TP on ST-2 at 88 degree (which will be closeby) after its launched by june '11 by Sing Tel
