I'm trying to find a way to bypass it without a VPN since it adds to latency and affects speed.

I can assure y'all, even if you pass the Encrypted SNI test, on Jio, you will still see the connection reset for some reason:

The Encrypted SNI only works if the hosting site is using Cloudflare and you yourself are using Cloudflare SNI setting. So the only solution is to use GoodbyeDPI from GitHub. That is the only program which defeats this arbitrary blocking by Jio and others without VPN.

Linux equivalent for GoodByeDPI is Zapret. bol-van/zapret . It should work as ERX runs Linux

This only works on a PC unfortunately. Most of the time I am using my ipad or phone. Now a days I hardly use my PCs.

Is GoodbyeDPI safe to use? There is not much info on how it works. I am feeling a bit skeptical, more so as the developer is a Russian.

GoodbyeDPI is indeed legit and open source. It was originally intended to bypass internet censorship and blocking by Russian government.
