Weird problem with Tata DoCoMo SIM Card - says unidentified number

I took this Tata DOCOMO pre-paid SIM Card in Bangalore Central, Bangalore as part of the Future Group promotion couple of months back. Now when I try to re-charge online or even try to register a complaint on DOCOMO website, it says "unidentified number" / "number does not exist".Its shocking to see them issuing numbers and leaving us hanging around like this. Now, i have no option but to switch to another provider and share new number again with friends!
 
They would have given you Very Old packaging of Sim Card. If I am not wrong, If Sim Card is not activated for 6 months to 2 yrs (depends upon operator), Number gets deprovisioned from that Sim Card and get re-provisioned on different Sim Card.And your number would be in transition period where deletion had been done but provision had not been done anywhere, so it would be showing Invalid.But again, more perfect reason can be explained only by DOCOMO guys .
 
I had the SIM activated the same and used from day 1 till about a month back when the balance ran out. I had switched to my existing vodaphone sim card then. Now thought of recharging the Docomo SIM as I have bought another phone. The inactive period may be a max of 1 month.
 
the mistake is yours ( which I did blunder a year ago, opting for their service), why did you go for this sick company, with zero customer service and worst network efficiency?
