what cost for device and wire do bsnl take charge from customers for ftth connection?

My LCO charged me 1500 for 100-meter cable and installation, 2000 for Netlink ONT and 777 for plan activation.

He charged you double for the cable

i have D-Link DIR-605L router.can it be used with my bsnl fiber connection?its 2.4 GHz frequency and my plan which i want is 50 mbps.will i have lower speed due to router?

It should be enough for 50 Mbps IMO.

Please share the setup amount that you have paid for the connection. They have charged Rs 5500 for the connection and other things, since its a small town in UP and there's no other service available, I had paid for what they asked. Here's the breakup-

for me it was 3200 Rs ONT charge and 850(montly ftth charge),so total 4050 Rs .I took my BSNL ftth from LCO(local cable operator)

you have to pay ONT charge after they install the connection .you can pay 1 month security at that time also or you can in the first bill.in case you don't pay at the spot then 1 month security charge comes in first month bill.

My LCO took 3500 for ONT and 1200 for installation. My plan is 749 pm. My first bill amount was 1150. Now let's see what will be my next bill amount.

i received my first bill day before....!!!

Here are the charges :-
Security Deposit 1 month plan tariif : 777 (refundable at the time of disconnection)
Security Deposit for ONT : 500 (refundable at the time of return)
No Installation charges mentioned in the bill (I submitted online application on selfcare portal for connection, so i guess no LCO is involved and the connection is from direct BSNL or maybe the people who came to install are BSNL's vendor in the region)
And since the connection got activated on 31st July but they installed it on 1st Aug so that one day charge of tariif plan : 777/31 = 25.06 + 18% GST

So basically these are charges as of now and more clarity might be in the next bill...!!!

They took 3000(modem price) + 849(plan security) = 3849 RS with me

for me they took 3000 for Syrotech ont at the time of installation. and on first bill 777 (deposit) + 250 (installation) and 500 (for my 15 days use because i get my connection on 15th july) i did not get charged for fiber cable.
