What happened to OPEN TV?

We had seen in the news years before, well before the launch of Sun Direct about their tie up for Open TV Software. But what happened. Arun (vln_arun) you were following up with nodal officer earlier, any updates.Gr8 Question whether it will come...??? ADTV launched services with Interactive services...Whats the problem with Sun Direct?

Open tv software is released for samsung STB accoding to one of the member in other forum.:dance:According to him the interface is looking good.Dont know when they r gonna release open tv software for others.I am currently not following up with Nodal officer bcz he will reply me with the same answer that "They r currently testing it"

@msol49 SD recently had tie up with samsung for providing STB to SD.So SD customers r totally having 3 STB's1).Homecast2).Coship and3).Samsung STB. Currently Open tv software is loaded to Samsung STB.I think soon we can expect Open tv software to other STB's.

ya we are expecting the same, but whats on the cards for interactive services? they tested some mosaic earlier, but dont know what are going to come...hope something regional and different shud be launched as there are more south customers

Interactive content will come to SD only after they get addl.Tp's from ISRO.I think ISRO is going to give addl.TP's to SD on March'09.SD is in short of TP.
