Image:- Screenshot These pings are from my local isp. I am getting 20 Mbps unlimited in 1000 rs. I want to change to BSNL FTTH if ping is good.
https://pubgserverping.com Open this website in your pc connected through the ethernet cable and not from wifi for 1-2 minute to get an average ping from the servers and please mention the city you are from. Does the ping stay same all the time or it changes with the IP address like today it is near 80ms from Singapore and the next day when your dynamic IP changes it becomes 250ms from Singapore.

Does having a cat 7 Lan cable improve my ping in any way ( even 10 ms improvement is acceptable ).
Currently i am getting 60-70ms ping for pubg using bharat fibre of bsnl.
Whereas i used to get 25ms ping using my previous isp ( Shine Broadband ) using same modem and same LCO.
I have done CAT7 wiring in my house. I see zero ping improvements. I used CAT7 only to increase range of my 10 Gigabit LAN inside my house. CAT6 only supports 10 GBe speeds upto 30 mts. CAT7 increases that to 100 mts. If you have 10-15 mts wiring inside your home, then even CAT5e would also be more than sufficient.

@varkey I've been getting high pings and 2-3Mbps international transit speed for the past week. Everything was good until the last week. Upload speed is fine. Can you please confirm this @ Ernakulam?

Guys the max speed I got on torrents is 60% of plan speed.
Do you know why?
I even tried torrents with high seeders like ubuntu.

In direct download I get full 13MBps speed to all international servers.
Also I feel steam download is also throttled as I dont get max speed in steam also.

what torrent program are you using @sachinphari ? try qbittorrent and report back? try to set a upload speed limit in the torrent program.
