What should be appropriate rent for Dataone Home UL 750 Plus (256kbps)

I think bsnl charges too much for a 256 speed internet.In my opinion rent should be Rs.500+tax.
Airtel offers same plan with rent Rs.649+Rs.50calls+tax.if we leave Rs.50 calls then effective rent is Rs.599.And consider the service of airtel which is far better than bsnl.
Connect offers DSL Combo 555 Rs.555+Rs.50calls+tax.in this plan effective rent is Rs.505.

so what do u think about this....Please write ur opinions......

your calculations are perfect..to be more precise it should be 500+ plan i.e no rent for landline...:urock:

Kolkata customers were already enjoying 256 k UL @ Rs.500 pm, but from Jan 10 it would ( or rather expected to) be back to Rs.750. I still feel Rs.750 pm is too much for a simple 256 k connection..!

every operator is charging too much. i dont think 256 K qualifies as Broadband anymore..any company offering it should not charge more than rs 200/ month

ya u r right in US there is only Rs.700-800 for 1mbps connection.
