Why do you need a new landline for MTNL DSL? I think it's capable of being provided over your existing MTNL landline only (if you have one).

Sify may reduce their prices as the competition grows, but with all their b*lls**t conditions intact!!! so really of no use...and yes, the best pack Sify has is 128 kbps 9-9 NU...all the others are total nonsense...considering their policing our internet usage... :angry:and gaurav, inetbum is right...u don't need another phone line for the MTNL TriBand, if u have one line...do u???

and hey tht night unlimited plan of mtnl has many problem u shld read the mtnl triband forum . coz there is some prob with the modem tht u hve to switch on at 12 and switch it off at 8 am exactly some of tht crap u can go and read there.

well neo, it even works if u keep it online always...it's just a safety measure so that ur usage is categorised accordingly and u're safe if there's a discrepancy in ur bill...at least u'll have the records...switching on the modem at 12 and switching it off is not a hard and fast rule...
