gimme 5 tb to a line and i will set up 2 or 3
intel xeons in basement split them up in
vps and start selling them , some guys in Korea are doing pretty good in that
you may want think of pricing commercial lines something like this
Net to Hayai - unlimited
Hayai to Hayai - free [ which it is already ]
Hayai to net - 5 to 7 tb.
at good pricing you could see a lot of basement start
ups.
We wouldn't allow this on a residential connection. But if you purchased a suitable
business connection, it would be less of a problem.
However that has got me thinking: for startups who utilize our service (as in, people who start businesses which have some promise, it doesn't really matter the whether it's a residential or business connection because of how we already differentiate the various levels of service) there could/should at least be the possibility of free website hosting/email and such.

Okies.
1. Video conference...The basic reason of me taking the BSNL 2 mbps connection.
2. Lessen my electricity bill...My PC is on from past week without a reboot.
3. Decrease my patience...that's bad
4. Of course downloading...I like to watch cartoons.
1. Good
2. This is one of our selling points
3. Well... insert joke about Airtel's "impatience" plans here

4. Fair enough - I think we can group downloading (legal or not) and streaming of movies/
tv shows/etc in to one.
Anyways, I think 100 mbps will be a bad thing for people, they will have no control over what they do. I had a 256 kbps connection (UL 750) last year, when BSNL upgraded to 512 kbps. I thought Wow, now I'll have to wait less. But still I'm still the same our hunger never ends.
When a guy has a slow speed connection he goes for the lowest file size, now I go for the highest, sometimes 20 GB for one movie.
I don't think that's necessarily a bad thing - even if you download the 20GB version, it will still be over in a matter of minutes at that speed, so if you have the equipment to support it then you get to see and hear awesome quality. On the other hand, if you don't have the high-definition equipment, there's not much point in downloading those
uber high definition rips.
And while downloading 100 mbps can never be attained...to get a 12 mBps speed you have to be connected in a huge swarm.(Which is not available in most cases).
I find most torrents top out at about 30-40mbit/s... and then all of a sudden they're finished, although you might get ever-increasing speeds on larger torrents.
mtnl is talking about 10gbps connections using fiber !!
I think that was somebody's typo which somehow caught on - 10Gbit/s PON equipment for home and small business applications is barely on the market (the enterprise and carrier-level stuff has been around for ages, but, well, that's not really PON, that's 10Gbit/s over Ethernet which is an entirely different topology).
Even then, this 10Gbit/s PON equipment just 10Gbit/s to the device - it doesn't come with 10Gbit/s ethernet ports or anything.
daily upload videos in HD format, also would seed full.
Assuming of course you're the copyright owner, sure
