When exactly does Airtel FUP you ?

I have exceeded my FUP of 20 GB.. nearing 24GB now and its still going at 200kb/s touchwood :rofl:So the question arises, is there anyone here who has been FUPed ? It can act also as a good deterrent. I guess they just need to flick a few switches to lower your speeds? Anyone know about the technicalities?

i am constantly getting 400kbps around speed now under 699 plan,thought it is not permanent but looks like it is now.damn airtel should give 512 kbps not fair...

many have been FUP'ed many haven't been

also they don't need switches but they have automatic software programs which throttle the speeds,it must be if your area has proper cabling to provide full speeds and other people not using their full bandwidth then they might not set their programs to throttle
