hello friends. strange things happening on mycase. the telephone guy just came to my house and throw the telephone cable into my room and told that next day he will come with a tech guy from bsnl. almost 2 weeks gone, he even dont come for showing his dam face, i have not received uid and passwd from bsnl. finaly my dad connect the telephone cord to the proper place, so that we have our paralal connetion of phone. but i still dont received any call from bsnl guys. i went to the office, talk to HOD, complaint about this, but no works.plz suggest what should i do.thx in advance

They generally give you the username and passowrd 4-7 days after they have setup the connection at your home. it's strange you didn't get it ever after 2 weeks. Maybe they are expecting christmas goodies from you!!!:D:D Call bsnl and talk to some senior officer there. keep calling them until they show up!!

Yes they should have given u the credentials within a week, call them up and demand for your UID and password :)

doesnt BSNL give username as phone no and passwd set to CA number?u can try that first b4 calling.

@gmg9 You have not given the location State or city.call 1800 424 1600.Is it old Telephone number or new telephone connection ?What is the tariff plan you selected ?Do you have a sancharnet dialup connection /or NETONE to complain on line ?Then things may move faster.

thx for ur reply friends.@essbebei am from kolkata.the conection is on old telephone number.home 500.no sancharnet.

Also try and contact your local SDO and commercial officer (seek room/telephone number for Customer service center). These people will know the exact reason for delay and can give you information too.
