Where is Google Android 2.3 update for LG Optimus One????

As per LG, LG Optimus One users were supposed to get Android 2.3 Gingerbread update by the end of may 2011.... May is almost comming to an end n still no gingerbread. Do anyone have any update as to when the update is going to be available in India officially?

well if they have planned to release it, it would eventually come out. a delay of a couple of weeks is nothing.

Amongst the Android vendors, HTC has the fastest update cycle, and users of other vendors usually end up updating it themselves. I think you would need to wait a month or so. Just guessing

never mind. htc does seem to release updates for their phones on a much faster schedule. samsung and Sony are improving.

Absolutely Considering they need to test / change their Sense to integrate well with the new Android version, they do a pretty quick and good job. I for instance have got the Gingerbread update OTA

Sony is probably the worst of the lot. The Xperia's update woes are legendary

^ Looks have always been their stronghold, be it phones or cameras or portable music players. The Xperia itself was one helluva stunner, and Sony was solely responsible for its demise.

they have fixed their shit. all their new devices are 2.3 loaded. and they are delivering the 2.3 update for most of their older phones as well.

Good to hear. Though it would be interesting to see if this is going to be their one off update again. What happens when Icecream Sandwich is out?
