Dear Friends,

If you are interested in Linux ie Fedora or anything else and can't download it due to price or speed problem then please visit this page of a non-profit organization based in Pune. They sell CDs/DVDs of various distros for very little such 25 Rupees for each CD and 125 Rupees for each DVD of your chosen distro. You can have them send you the CD or DVD by post with a little extra charge as well.

Pune Gnu/Linux Users Group: Free Software

They are a genuine company and not fraud. They promote Linux use in India and they are nice people.

Thanks,

James

Hi,I would like to ask forum members where they get their Linux distro from. Do they download off the internet, ask a friend or buy with a pc magazine as a DVD etc. Thanks

I used to get ubuntu regularly. but now they have restriction. anyway best is to download it..burn it.nowadays i am on my genuine windows and dont do any experiments with linux.

Has been ages since I used Linux at home. I still occasionally use it at work, but not really into much of programming, and I like things easy :D
