just want to know whether 1.5 gb download limit for home combo means 1.5x1024 mb or 1500 mbalso I don't understand the tax rates where I can find tax rates I searched not able to find

1.5 GB= 1.5x1024 =1532 MB usage D/L +U/L correct. Tax rates 12.00% , plus education cess .2%

Always I keep my data limit for the month in netmeter as 1500MB so as to keep a buffer of 32MB so that there will be no case of excess billing. :)

@njan1982 learnt a lot from IBF and like to respond to others, quickly. At the same time , like to search and give number of references ( for future use for others ) & to improve my knowledge.
KB to MB Converter

@srk006 : the usage meters are also accurate. In case you cannot check at BSNlLsite,
you can use the 32 Mb also.
Now for me Datafox shows in green 941.1MB available quota 17.9 MB.This i have checked in other meters. Next time I reconnect to BSNL BB DataFox will go red today !! exceeded quota!

Sorry. If your ip is 117.xx.xx.xx Datafox will not work,
Shawplus Bandwidth meter 1.1 near taskbar is useful.
ShaPlus Bandwidth Meter - Freeware to display bandwidth consumed for session, day and month

Net-meter is not very accurate. I have noticed a difference of a few hundred MBs when in UL plan. So taking this precaution. Also occasionally I compare the usage with DataFox. So no overcharging. :)
