Which DNS you guys are using.

I've seen many guys using google and cloudfare as a dns provider as a matter of fact anyone is using something like,

NextDNS
Dns4in
AhaDns


just curious why you are upto this and not on traditional dns.

Router set to 1.1.1.1 and opendns

My iPhone has 1.1.1.1 Encrypted profile and NextDNS custom profile

Not the best, if you want to be served CDN servers localized to you with low latency. They are not just simple recursive servers, so that's a good thing, though.

For me, I use these over AdGuard Home.

I use controld for my phone (adblocking-encrypted). Adguard Home at home, with clouldflare, OpenDNS (DOH) as upstream.

If you want better internal or optimal CDN routing from your ISP it's better to use an ECS-enabled DNS server.

Internal/PNI routing depends on your ISP's capabilities.

Have been using Cisco, google and CF DNS since many years but Google DNS works the best for me.
