which USB connection to get?

Hello ppl.. The USB broad band connection is new to me.. I will be in chennai for a month and would like to know which USB connection to get..would.Will mostly need the internet for browsing and download(would like to be able to use youtube).. would like your valuable advice/tips..

there's nothing suchthing like USB Broadband.... i think probably u might be thinking about connecting router to comp/lappy via USB... i suggest you to to insist the service provider to provide you LAN/ethernet option instaed of USB.....

USB based devices for internet connectivity are available through reliance, tata indicom, idea, airtel and vodafone as well. speeds are bad. they are expensive. practically worthless.

well I guess I have to look at other options then..gettin a LAN broadband connection for a month is practically unwise..

Are these devices meant for laptops ?

works on both desktops and laptops. as long as you can run the dialer that comes with the usb modems.
