these mobile providers are day robbing customers

vodafone, airtel, all must be fined for this.

airtel must pay a fine of Rs. 10000 to me for this overcharging

File a case against them in consumer forum...don't take it lightly...

airtel charged u for toll free number??anyways why dont u talk to their customer care?

I called to cc, they say that, if you call from bsnl it is toll free, if you call from mobile it is Rs.10/minthey tell very cool like this

Hmm...10 rupee per min, even a call to canada now cost just under 4 Rs...this is day time robbing..

i think its written pretty clearly that these numbers are toll free from just bsnl and mtnl phones... Dell has a number which they say is free from airtel. i have not checked my bills if those calls were charged. anyways, toll free numbers are heavily misused in india. and trai needs to revamp the system. airtel is being an ass charging what they are charging for these calls.

Hi there,

If you really want to fight...I will guide you. I know these people are most notorious and understand only lgal language.

Write an apllication in name of customer service manager, Airtel. Sate all these in that application, sign with date, attach copy of bill with highlighting the disputed charges. Now do a photocopy of complete set of doccument and application. Go to nearby airtel customer service desk, handover the complain form alongwith copy of bill, get stammped (compulsory) with signature of your photocopy set. Please remember, this must be stamped.

Now go to Airtel.in, get the nodal officer e-mail Id (don't call these stupid people) send the stamped set of application to them (scan PDF copy). As per the TRAI guideline nodal officer must reach and resolve your problem within 30 day.

If you do not get forward same mail to trai.

Keep few thing in mind and never forget:

- when you submit your application at customer care centre they might give you complain no and try avoid giving receiving of complain by stamping that. Must take this. if they are not agree call police by dialing 100 (yes don't be afraid doin that).
- never write mail as fresh mail again and again. Always use chain of mail by using forward link. if you get reply that dos not have chain mail, copy that from previous mail and paste in your new reply.

Never feel that wahtever airtel charged is legal. That is completely illegal.

We are running a consumer protection group on yahoo. You can join there. Group name is "adhikaar". To join that PM me.

Best regards,
Ranjeet
