Hello,

MY router is TP-Link WR740N.

After plugging into adapter, all led blink once after pressing power button , then power led remains on, then lock led blinks, then second led also remains on, but LAN & WiFi led doesnt remain on.

I had pressed that QSS button, can it be due to that and it means it is working but locked? if so, how to unlock?

What can be the issue? I have tried pressing reset button but it is not doing anything...

Is my router not repairable or what should i do?

I have attached screenshot..plz check and let me know.

Hoping you didn't bricked it

1. Try reset it -

https://s3.amazonaws.com/cdn.freshd...ion/5039666141/original/blob1443739248467.png

With the Router powered on, press and hold the WPS/RESET button (more than 10 seconds) until the SYS LED becomes quick-flash from slow-flash. Then release the button and wait the Router to reboot to its factory default settings. (use a small pin or something)

2. Connect the lan port with your pc (if one port doesn't work try other- the lan icon/light will flash if the respective port is working)
then go to 192.168.0.1
User - pass -admin - admin
Setup - if you know how to

Good Luck!

P.S. in second image I can see only adapter plugged in, No wan or lan so probably thats why the light is stuck at settings. or are you using it in WDS repeater mode ?

What is wds repeater mode?

Yes,. I m stucked..no wifi no LAN..what can be issue? And lock led.blinks once when I start...after all led blinks

Tried both...can't do either as reset isn't working..tried to push for 20-25sec but nothing happens..and connecting via LAN isn't working either..

Yeah..just bought D-Link DIR 615 N300. I hope it will be better.. TP-Link customer care is pathetic...no number of local service center...toll free isn't getting connected..no replu of email..
