So what I've noticed is that I get total three ipv4 addresses, they end with 100, 101, and 102. now when I'm logged in the first ip which ends with a 100 my mobile would connect to the WiFi no problem, but when I'm logged in the other two ip's which ends with 101 & 102 the mobile simply does not detect the router. anyone know why this is happening? any solutions?

How did you get only 3 IPs? What do you mean by when I'm logged in? How are you logged in - Laptop or Desktop?Mac filtering or IP address reservation enabled?

well when I'm connected to my WiFi on laptop I can see it's always one of the three that I mentioned, I checked it form the network properties. not sure about the mac filtering and ip reservation.Edit: sorry, they are actually the ipv4 addresses and not ip. I've corrected the original post as well.

Don't worry about ipv4.What is the make/model of your router?Eg For Netgear routersIP reservation is under Advanced -> LAN SetupMacfiltering is under Advanced -> Wireless Settings

Your phone should be able to detect the router no matter what IP address it is. Maybe you're just not able to connect? Did you look for the Mac filtering or IP address reservation? They should be disabled.

Turn off and turn on your router and then connect. The phone will then connect.I face a similar issue on my MTNL Router too. My laptop and my phone work perfectly, but some other device when connected does not get internet access. I need to restart the router to get the other device working.

I am having the same problem. how did you get to the IP/Mac filter option. it asks for a username and password if i try to log in to the router . what is the username and password of the router. i have the same router model DM 856W
