WiFi Working for Laptop ... NOT FOR MY MOBILE

Hi All,

I have this problem from when i got the BSNL Broadband.

1) I am using USTARCOM wa3002 g1 Modem
2) Using Wifi On Laptop
3) When i tried to connect the Wifi to MOBILE iT shows Connecting,,,,,(FOR 10 MIN), ( And then shows Cannot Connect to Modem)
4) I am using Samsung Corby Pro 5310
5) I have DHCP Enabled and using it PPPoe Mode.


tell me What to do... I have to again again open laptop for small things..

Please help Guys

i too have this problem,i tried connecting my modem in bridge mode, but it won't work, that way,so i have to use, modem as dialer.laptop coonects to internet instantly, where as iPhone takes 2~3 minutes to open a site or just hange ?

Check your mobile via connecting it to any other Wifi router.I was having similar problem with my Samsung Monte S5620. But now its working like charm. connects within 3-4 seconds. and using opera mini. its very fast browsing experience!!Just post a screen shot of your router's Wifi settings page!

Well Guys , Thank you very much and the problem for all Samsung Corby Pro With BSNL or any Broadband is Solved.


See this ..

Step 1 : Switch ON the Wifi In Mobile Phone.
Step 2: When u find the Access Point ..Click on it and select Edit.
Step 3 : Go to advanced settings( At the Bottom of screen) and check on STATIC IP
Give the IP in the Range 192.168.1.X
Subnet Mask : 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Step 4 : Check on STATIC DNS
Server 1 : 192.168.1.1
Server 2 : 192.168.1.1

And You are done ...now try connecting the Router by clicking on it.. and U are done..!!
