The other new DTH entrant - Reliance's Blue Magic is likely to be allotted transponders on the INSAT 4CR satellite to be launched on September 1, by an ISRO launch. ISRO's earlier attempt had to be aborted, and the INSAT 4C was satellite was lost. If launched successfully, this will be a huge milestone for ISRO.
On the other hand, if the replacement satellite - INSAT 4CR is also lost, then Reliance Blue Magic is likely to be allotted transponders on the MEASAT satellite.

Yes meetdhil i will also talk to CC,But i don't think that Sun Channels will come within this month.Those ppl are not answering properly and these sun dth ppl is also not starting the Dth.Oh my god big trouble with Dishtv.

150 + Digital Channels (which will include 20 Channels of the Sun Group) and say 5 more channels in Tamil (just a guess) and some malayalam, telugu and kannada channels (let us take 25 more) and the rest of other channels. This is just a wild guess

All current and future DTH subscribers need not worry too much. By 2008/ 2009, you will have 5-8 operators to choose from. There is no exclusivity. So those who are worrying about Sun, Bindass etc. not coming on DishTv etc need not worry. The broadcasters have to provide all channel to the DTH operators.Further, STBs will be available on rent. These people will also have to start free installation like the BB fellows are doing (competition, you see). So, finally, the only way the operators can distinguish themselves is by QoS. Lets wait and see who comes on top.

I have an idea of buying Tata Sky DTH but if i buy the TS DTH then Dish Tv DTH will become waste.I cannot return the DISH TV DTH also.That is the problem.If i can sell the Dishtv DTH to someone then I will buy the TS immediately,But i don't know to whom i will sell the Dish tv DTH .Becoz of Dish tv my hands are tied,I cannot buy Tata Sky Now

Just give an advertisement but the chance is that you won't get the full amount and moreover you will have to disclose all those things that your CC asks when you call them like mobile number, contact number, etc. I do not know if they can block the STB if you sell the same to someone else.

I have an idea of buying Tata Sky DTH but if i buy the TS DTH then Dish Tv DTH will become waste.I cannot return the DISH TV DTH also.That is the problem.If i can sell the Dishtv DTH to someone then I will buy the TS immediately,But i don't know to whom i will sell the Dish tv DTH .Becoz of Dish tv my hands are tied,I cannot buy Tata Sky Now

Don't get confused.Wait for some more time.I also thought of purchasing TS and changed my idea.This is our fate by keeping dishtv without sun channels.I think it will take maximum 1 more month for the launch of sun direct.
Don't give ur dishtv settopbox to anyone as piracy problem is there.The VC card is in u'r name and if anybody misuses it then the problem and headache is for u only.so wait for some more time.
At the same time TS has no idea to get RAJ channels.But once sun channels are there,then almost more channels will be there only in dishtv...:wall::wall:
