Haven't tested VLC or Winamp but Winamp just seems to be better!

winamp can play videos on the phone? had no idea.does it support all the format that vlc support?

No , winamp is shown g only audio files in its playlist . Vlc shows only video files in its playlist. Did't tried to play audio files. But the default video player in S.GS3 is much better clean and simple.
