Ever since I downloaded windows 10, a lot of background data is being used by "service host: local system 15" Almost 80% of my 3mbps is being used

lol. which bandwidth are they supposed to use? ah. they are probably talking about the new p2p option for faster delivery of updates.

@dextermorgan around 1gb worth of updates are being downloaded as posted by navjot earlier in the thread.

just turn it off if you do not have a second computer running windows 10

^This did the trick. Network usage is zero percent now,

and you end up with windows 10 home version.

If only you could buy it and own the license. Sadly, you lease the license of the OS that is valid till the life of the hardware

In any case, a great example of how Microsoft is fucking the independent computer makers and pushing consumers to go for disposable devices.
